So here is how it happened.....

I have been dreaming of a custom paint job on my HD Softail Standard ever since I purchased it in 2003. I knew what I wanted was a little odd and very unique to my personality. I called my trusted technician and asked whom they would recommend. Without hesitation they gave me Marshall's number and basically said there was no other choice. I called Marshall and we joked about the directions to his studio in the mountains, and he said laughing, "If you can't find my house, I'm not painting your bike", I knew I had my guy.

I visited Marshall's studio and was blown away. When I walked in and saw the work that he did I almost walked out knowing that I could not afford this type of art on my bike. It was breathtaking. He was able to work with me, unbelievably, with something I could afford.

Basically, all I told Marshall about the bike was that I liked warm colors and I wanted two geckos on the bike as they are my totem and keep me safe while I ride. Marshall seemed almost as excited as I was. He kept me updated via phone and e-mail. He spent time getting to know me and what I am about. I sensed it was part of his work, but in addition to that I feel I have made a lifelong friend. We made a strong connection, and the results are amazing. It was truly an artist's process. Marshall has a way of listening to what you want and who you are to create an original piece that is you. For those of you who ride, you know the spiritual connection that you have with your bike, and Marshall just enhances that connection with his art. The first time I saw the bike I was dumbfounded. Somehow, without much direction, Marshall was able to get into my head and onto the bike exactly what I had dreamt of. I couldn't be happier.

Thank you MC...Budda on the mountain.....
